What a great new Mediterranean restaurant! I was about to go to Oren's hummus; however, Hummus Mediterranean Kitchen was recommended to me by a friend and it did not disappoint. Came on a Wednesday evening around 6:45PM and got seated immediately. The servers were very attentive, warm and friendly. Food: -Appetizer Sampler Plate $23.95 5/5. It was a little bit of everything and it was all delicious. There were falafels on top of the hummus, dolmas on top of a thick tzatziki sauce, baba ghanoush, olives, and a Mediterranean salsa that was sweet, tangy and refreshing. It also comes with a couple of their house pita (which was on the breadier side). You could split this between 2 people and you'll probably be full. -Shakshuka $20 (add cheese $2 and soujuk $3 - Mediterranean sausage that similar to pepperoni). I wish the shakshuka had more tomatoes since this dish was very heavy on the eggplant and red pepper. I didn't really taste any tomato but if you like eggplant and red bell pepper-- you'll like this. I personally prefer more tomatoes and a sweeter shakshuka (like what you can get at Oren's Hummus). So I wouldn't order this again due to personal preferences. -House Combo Plate $28.95 5/5. The lamb & beef gyro was delicious. Very well seasoned, a little on the saltier side but I really enjoyed it. Even the chicken wasn't dry and the beef kabobs were delicious. I would definitely get this again.
I didn't have a lot of time for lunch so I was looking for the closest Mediterranean restaurant. The simple dish was perfect. Each one of the samples was so tasty and the pita bread is great. I also ordered calamari and enjoyed it. I was very happy from the Service and got the food very quick.
I am a simple person. If I see branzino on the menu, I will order it. And this one from @eatathummus did not disappoint! This branch inside the Stanford shopping center is a bit more upscale than their other dine and go locations - and it also comes with different menu items not found at the quick dine spots such as flat bread, branzino, and beef dumplings. I'd highly recommend those three - they were definitely my favorite. The Interior is clean and modern with high ceilings - love the ambiance here.
this was actually my first mediterranean food! i went with a friend and we decided to get the appetizer sampler with some calamari, which was the perfect portion for the both of us! the calamari 10/10 delicious, lightly crispy, and came with two sauces to dip it in. both of them were so delicious, and the portion was really huge. the sampler dolmades 10/10 wow i have never had anything like this and my friend whose had it multiple times really enjoyed it. i have constantly tried to find something that would replicate this for me. olives 4/10 these olives were SALTY genuinely we could not eat it
Special thanks to Umut, our gracious and personable server who made our dining experience extra enjoyable by explaining how to layer our Turkish pizza with their amazing appetizer platter offerings. This is our second time dining in this beautifully decorated restaurant. We have fully enjoyed the food, service, and ambience each time! The restaurant is also clean and prices are reasonable. We are already looking forward to returning again!
Umut was amazing! food was great and Umut gave me great recommendations on food and what to try.
The food was amazing and the service was quick. Umut was amazing! Will definitely come here again! Highly recommend to bring friends here
Loved this spot! Came here on Black Friday and it's gorgeous inside. So bright and tons of earthy wood seating. The sample platter is nonstop amazing, with fresh babaganoush, hummus, crispy falafel, this sautéed eggplant dish and more. Licked the plate clean. Coming back here next time I'm shopping at the mall. 5 stars!!!
Husband and I stopped by after work during a weekday and were seated immediately. The restaurant was a little less than half filled but I enjoyed the calmness of it. The menu was big and had so many items I wanted but I was able to contain myself and didn't go overboard. We asked our waiter for his recommendations and we ended up going with majority of his recommendations (fried manti and shish kabobs). I wanted hummus so that was my own add in. The hummus was delicious! So smooth and flavorful. The fried mantis were very enjoyable but wouldn't mind if it was bigger so we can taste more filling. The shish kabob is decent but we will probably skip it next time. Overall, great food and good environment.
We were there on a Sunday noon around 2pm. The place was very busy, but we got a table with 5 minutes of waiting time. The inside sitting is pretty chill and comfortable. The staff are nice and helpful. We ordered combo platter and Turkish pizza. The food was delicious but not enough. I was expecting more food comparing to similar places. Overall, I was happy with our experience, and probably will go there again.
